Resignation or Dismissal

The benefit payable upon resignation or dismissal is a refund of the employer and employee contributions made into the Fund, plus accumulated interest, subject to tax. However, if the employer portion of contributions exceeds the limit prescribed by the Pensions Regulator, it will be retained in the Fund and paid when the member attains early retirement age of age 55 years, or on death, whichever occurs first.


Requirements for Processing Resignation/ Dismissal Benefits


• A completed and stamped Pension Claim Form.
• A copy of the member’s National Identification Document or Driver’s Licence or valid Passport
• A copy of the member’s last payslip showing year-to-date (YTD) figures is required for tax assessment purposes.
